Apple Rumors: iPhone 7S to have curved screen, glass exterior (Photo)

The new iPhone 7S will reportedly be curved and feature an all-glass shell.

Whenever we think of Apple, we can’t help but think of how obsessed everyone is with the company even though they’re rarely playing from ahead in the technology field. During the height of the Steve Jobs era, Apple was innovating technology in ways that have become second nature to us now — but it’s been long time since the company added anything to the conversation.

Instead, it seems that Apple plays it safe more often than not and doesn’t go out on a limb with new technology. The latest example of that is being seen in the rumored renderings of what looks to be the iPhone 7S, set for release in 2017. Among the ‘new’ features on the iPhone 7S are a curved screen and an all-glass exterior shell.

Both of these innovations have long been on the market with Galaxy and HTC products, and Apple is once again waiting to see if it works out before installing the changes themselves.

It also appears that the iPhone 7S will finally get on board with the wireless charging fad as well as the Bluetooth wireless headphone craze that has only been going on since 2013.

From televisions to phone screens, the fad is curved and Apple is once again arriving late to the party. Of course, there’s no way to be certain that this is what the iPhone 7S will look like — or that it will even be called that. But it appears that this is the best mockup of the next-gen iPhone that we’ve seen yet and is a much needed upgrade for Apple users.

This model is in no way confirmed, either. Even if it is the true next-gen model for Apple, we won’t be seeing it until 2017 as the iPhone 7 is expected to come this fall without many of the features seen here. Then again, you never know with Apple as usually we’re never right about the changes — or lack thereof — they make.
