High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,600): Westbrook will be in point guard duel North of the border as he takes on Kyle Lowry and goes for his seventh triple-double of March. Westbrook has at least 40 fantasy points in seven straight games and has at least 54 fantasy points in three of those contests.  Tonight, Westbrook will be an interesting matchup since the Raptors allow the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG, but Westbrook lit up Toronto for 22 points and 16 assists despite a poor shooting night in their first meeting of the season.  Westbrook isn’t a lock to go off tonight, but he is a strong play since he’s carrying so much of the workload for the Thunder.

Damian Lillard-Portland Trail Blazers (8,500): Lillard has struggled with his shot lately and has finished with fewer than 40 fantasy points in three of his last four games and seven of his last nine. He’ll be in a good place to bounce back against the Kings who have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG this season.  Lillard is high-risk with his recent struggles, but he is too good not to explode for a monster night at some point.

Ricky Rubio-Minnesota Timberwolves (7,300): The Timberwolves are starting to be a lot of fun to watch, and they’ll be in a great matchup to load up on tonight as they take on the Suns. Rubio had 47.1 fantasy points when the Wolves played the Suns two weeks ago with 13 points, 17 assists, and four steals.  He at least 44 fantasy points in four of his last eight games while posting at least 30 in seven of those eight. The Suns allow the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG, so Rubio is a great play tonight. ∗∗

Brandon Knight-Phoenix Suns (7,100): On the other side of that Wolves-Suns matchup, Knight is a solid play as well  as he continues to find his groove after a long layoff. His shot has been inconsistent since returning but he has posted at least 25 fantasy points in each of his last five games highlighted by a game with 50.1 fantasy points against the Lakers last week. Tonight, he’ll face Minnesota who allows the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG making him a solid option even though he’s not as good a play as Rubio.
