High Value PG

Shelvin Mack-Utah Jazz (5,900): Mack has struggled lately even in good matchups and has been held under 21 fantasy points in three straight contests.  Before that he had reeled off six straight with at least 30 fantasy points, and Utah needs him to rediscover that rhythm as they push for the playoffs.  Mack’s price is attractive as he faces the woeful Lakers’ back court defense, but he’s still high risk given his recent struggle. ∗∗

D.J. Augustin-Denver Nuggets (4,900): Augustin has out-played rookie Emmanuel Mudiay in the last few games and continues a solid finish to the season since Denver picked him up at the trade deadline.  Augustin has over 35 fantasy points in each of his last two games after posting a solid double-double in LA with 18 points and ten assists against the Clippers last night.  Tonight, he and the Nuggets face Dallas who gave up 133 points last night to Sacramento.  Expect Denver to put up good numbers tonight as well, and Augustin should be good play at under 5K since he has at least 28 fantasy points in five of his last seven contests.

Raymond Felton-Dallas Mavericks (4,100): With Dallas suddenly swamped with injuries, Felton has stepped up nicely with four games of at least 28 fantasy points in his last seven including each of his last two.  Last night, he had 15 points and five assists against the Kings almost matching his total from Friday night with he had 17 points and five assists. Part of his increases success definitely has to do with Deron Williams being sidelined, but he has value even if D-Will returns tonight which doesn’t appear likely. No Williams-∗ With Williams-

Tim Frazier-New Orleans Pelicans (4,000): While the Pelicans have been getting good play from Toney Douglas in the absence of Norris Cole, it’s important not to overlook the contributions of Tim Frazier as well.  Frazier has posted at least 18 fantasy points in six straight games with over 22 fantasy points in four of those contests including three of his last four.  He has scored in double digits in six straight and usually adds solid assist numbers as well.  He gets plenty of minutes, so look for Frazier to produce again tonight in a good matchup against the Knicks. Now that Douglas’s price is almost 6K, Frazier is the cheap New Orleans guard that makes the most sense.

Shane Larkin-Brooklyn Nets (3,700): Larkin re-entered the starting lineup on Thursday against the Cavs and drew another start on Saturday against the Pacers.  In both outings he played well and the Nets actually won both games.  Larkin had over 25 fantasy points in both games averaging 15 points and six assists.  He’s a good cheap flier for tonight, but he’s in a tough matchup against the Heat who defend opposing PG very well.
