Gordon Hayward throws down slam on Roy Hibbert (Video)

Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward caught some air and threw down a slam on Los Angeles Lakers center Roy Hibbert.

With the NBA regular season drawing to a close, teams on the bubble are trying to play their hardest to get in the playoffs in the last few weeks of the season. On Monday night, the Utah Jazz came out and took advantage of an opponent trying to rack up ping pong balls in the Los Angeles Lakers.

All night long, the Jazz were making shot after shot and highlight play after highlight play. While Jazz forward Rodney Hood was the hero of the night because of his shooting, forward Gordon Hayward captured the attention of everyone with a giant slam on Monday night.

As Hayward caught the ball and saw a path to the hoop, he decided to take it right at Lakers center Roy Hibbert. He went up strong with the left hand and put Hibbert right on a poster.

Hibbert is one of the tougher centers to dunk on because of his immense size, but Hayward showed no fear and just went after it. That’s what it takes sometimes to score in the league.
