Nick Saban, wife to open another car dealership in Southeast
By Jason Parker
Alabama head coach Nick Saban, along with his wife and business partner, will be opening a third car dealership in the Southeast.
For Alabama Crimson Tide head football coach Nick Saban, the future is bright both on and off the field. Fresh off winning his fourth national title in the last seven seasons (and fifth overall), Saban doesn’t seem ready to slow down anytime soon.
But, when that time comes where Nick Saban finally hangs up the whistle and leaves the sideline, the coach and his wife, Terry, have a plan for the future: become a shady car salesman!
Okay, maybe he won’t be out actually selling the cars, but the Saban family has joined with their business partner to open two luxury car dealerships in the Birmingham, Alabama area. Now, they are expanding to another state and a bigger market:
"…Nick Saban and his wife will own a 50 percent stake in the new Mercedes-Benz of Music City dealership planned at Interstate 40 and Briley Parkway.Construction should begin this summer on the 60,000-square-foot dealership, which is expected to open in a year at 734 Envious Lane.Joe Agresti, who will own the other 50 percent stake co-owns the Mercedes-Benz of Birmingham and Infiniti of Birmingham car dealerships in Hoover, Ala. (with Nick and Terry Saban)."
Last September, Nick Saban and those at the Mercedes-Benz dealership near Birmingham released a luxury, limited edition van that was estimated to cost over $200,000 (only 15 were made for the 2015 college football season):
Nick Saban hopes his relationship with Mercedes-Benz is also profitable on the field, as the Crimson Tide will open their 2017 season at the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia when they take on Florida State. That stadium will also be the site for the SEC Championship Game and CFP Title Game that season as well.
