The 2015-2016 NBA season has been a pretty great one. The Golden State Warriors are making history, highlights are constantly happening in just about every game and there have been plenty of fun off the court moments to keep us entertained throughout the day. But perhaps the best moment of the entire season came in December when Gregg Popovich welcomed back everyone’s favorite sideline reporter Craig Sager back to work following a battle with cancer.
Unfortunately, time has rendered this moment a bit less happy as Sager announced recently that his cancer has returned and doctors told him that he has just three to six months to live.
As the entire NBA community mourns the news, there have also been different ways to honor Sager popping up recently. On Monday, Patti Lapel, a website that sells lapel pins, released their newest design, one that will honor Sager and bring us back to that great interview with Popovich.
The best part of the pin is where the money for it will go, as Patti Lapel announced that 15 percent of all funds will be going towards the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of Sager.
So if you have $10 lying around looking to be spent you now have a way to do so.
