With WrestleMania 32 less than a week away in Dallas, Texas, where will the biggest event in sports entertainment be in 2017?
For the first time since 2008, WrestleMania will be returning to the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida in 2017. It will be a much different looking card than in 2008, which featured the Big Show fighting boxer Floyd Mayweather and the Undertaker against Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship.
“You will leave the Citrus Bowl emotionally exhausted,” Vince McMahon said to WWE.com. “Everyone will enjoy the drama and the athleticism … but most importantly, you’ll leave with a big smile on your face.”
With WrestleMania returning to Florida, that also increases the chances of The Rock being involved in a match in his home state. The Rock won’t be involved in a match at this year’s WrestleMania, but he will be making another appearance and could have a big role in the show with speculation of a feud between him and now-WWE Champion, Triple H.
Since WrestleMania will be at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, that also means that the city will be host to all of the events leading up to Sunday night. The Orange County Convention Center will be the venue for WrestleMania Axxess and the Hall of Fame Ceremony while the Amway Center will be host to Monday Night Raw.
While it is fun to look ahead at where next year’s WrestleMania will be, there is still a lot that can happen at this year’s WrestleMania, which could be the last for the Undertaker if he loses to Shane McMahon inside Hell in a Cell in arguably the most exciting match of the card.
Florida fans will certainly be rooting for The Undertaker, as WrestleMania 33 might not have one of the biggest stars in the history of the company.
