Pau Gasol found a way to complete a pass while guarded by two defenders with a wicked behind the back pass.

The Chicago Bulls faced a critical game towards making the 2016 NBA Playoffs when they took on the Houston Rockets on Thursday night. Pau Gasol helped the cause as they tried to move closer to securing a a playoff berth with a crazy, athletic play by connecting with his teammate on a behind-the-back pass.

Gasol’s veteran experience in the NBA has paid off before. His leadership and composure turned lemons into lemonade as it appeared that the Bulls were about to turn the ball over due to tight defense by the Rockets. Nikola Mirotić was in the right place as Gasol used his peripheral vision to find his teammate for the easy layup.

This play was one of the wildest plays you’ll see in the NBA this year. Usually the dunks still the thunder, but Gasol’s pass behind the back and over the head is just as impressive as he seamlessly connected with his teammate. It’s a play that is probably practice often, but that probably doesn’t include Gasol throwing the ball over his head blindly.
