Luis Enrique provided one of El Clasico’s most memorable quotes regarding Barcelona fans’ feelings towards Madrid.
By now, everyone knows that Barcelona vs. Real Madrid is the best rivalry in world football. Whenever they get together for El Clasico, the world stops to watch. The feeling that both sets of fans get when beating the other is nearly indescribable, but Barcelona manager Luis Enrique managed to put into words what it’s like to beat Los Blancos, although he may have gone into too much detail:
Luis Enrique asked to sum up Barca-Madrid rivalry: "It comes down to fact that nothing makes a Barca fan hornier than beating Madrid"

That quote mirrors one that Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal made about his players and the reason why they haven’t been doing well enough. However, this is a much different context since Barcelona are 10 points clear of Real Madrid at the top and have already won 4-0 at the Bernabeu.
If Real want to keep their faint title hopes alive, they must win at Camp Nou, which is easier said than done given that they haven’t won there since 2011-12. More than anything, Enrique believes that a Barca win would be the final nail in the coffin to Real Madrid’s domestic campaign, and could mean a second consecutive trophy-less season for the club:

And as if this rivalry didn’t need any more to it, this also marks the first time Zinedine Zidane will be managing El Clasico. He and Luis Enrique have a long history with each other, dating back to when they played against each other.
While it was always going to be good, this edition of the Clasico will be guaranteed to have fireworks.
