Which wrestling legends will be inducted into the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class?
Every year on the night before WrestleMania, the greatest wrestling legends of all time are inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. In 2016, there was yet another stellar class that was inducted on the night before WrestleMania 32 took place in Dallas, Texas.
The likes of Sting, The Fabulous Freebirds and many others finally were enshrined once and for all with the fans that they were heroes too cheering on. While this class will always be remembered, it’s not too early to look ahead to 2017 and next year’s WWE Hall of Fame class.
In 2017, WrestleMania will take place at The Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida. With WrestleMania set to host one of their biggest events next year, there’s plenty of big names that could headline the WWE Hall of Fame class. In terms of big names that could headline, the big ones that jump off are The Undertaker, Daniel Bryan and The Rock.
With the Rock having plenty of roots in the state of Florida, Orlando could be the right place for him to headline the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. As for Daniel Bryan, it might be the right time after he retired early because of sustained injuries. He is a beloved member of the WWE Universe forever and he will have his day.
If this is indeed The Undertaker’s last WrestleMania, then it would make sense to put him in next year. As for others that could be in, names like Owen Hart, Rick Rude and DDP makes sense along with many other greats that have graced the ring.
After a great 2016 class, the WWE will have to follow it up with a great class next year.
