Here’s all the information you need to watch the MLB Opening Day matchup between the Toronto Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays
It will be the first opening day for the former Duke pitcher, Marcus Stroman as he will be on the mound for the Toronto Blue Jays, who face their AL East foe, the Tampa Bay Rays.
Stroman has been a part of the Jays team at multiple points over the past two seasons, but the 24-year old has yet to be on the opening day roster. The young ace has gone 15-6 in his 30 appearances, including 4-0 in his four starts in 2015. He had an solid 1.67 ERA in those four starts and looks ready to build upon that success.
For the Rays, Chris Archer will take the mound and the team hopes to see the 23-year old’s career take off after going 12-13 last season with a 3.23 ERA. His first assignment will be a tough one as he faces MVP third basemen Josh Donaldson and a star studded supporting cast which includes outfielder José Bautista, designated hitter Edwin Encarnación and shortstop Troy Tulowitzki.
