High Value PF

Jared Sullinger-Boston Celtics (5,900): Figuring out the Boston big-man rotation is a tricky task on a nightly basis, but Sullinger should have earned some playing time with his monster game in Oakland when his 20-point, 12-rebound double-double helped the Celtics knock off the Warriors.  He has at least 24 fantasy points in four of his last five games including the 39.9 fantasy points he had in Golden State.  He’s in a great matchup against the Lakers tonight, so if he gets the minutes he should produce good numbers from his sub-6K price point.

Mirza Teletovic-Phoenix Suns (4,900): Teletovic has bene one of the Suns most consistent offensive weapons this season which tells you just how inconsistent their season has been. Teletovic returned from illness and got a start against the Wizards on Friday.  He responded with a big double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds for a total of 38.9 fantasy points. He has at least 24 fantasy points in four of his last five games and as scored at least 17 points in each of those four outings.  The Suns won’t have Brandon Knight tonight, so they’ll need Teletovic to step up again on offense for them to keep the game competitive against the Jazz.

Amir Johnson-Boston Celtics (4,400): Another option for the Celtics in the front court would be to roll with Amir Johnson who had a quiet night in Golden State but should be able to produce against the thin Lakers frontcourt.  Johnson had 20.8 fantasy points on Friday, but he has been able to produce at least 27 fantasy points in five of his last nine games which would make him a steal at this price point if he gets that level of time and production against the Lakers tonight.

John Henson-Milwaukee Bucks (4,200): The Bucks were getting some great play from Henson in the three games before Friday’s matchup with Orlando.  For some reason (part of it foul trouble), coach Jason Kidd only gave Henson 11 minutes on Friday, though, limiting him to just 8.6 fantasy points. In his three previous games, Henson had 28 fantasy points, 36.6 fantasy points, and 34.5 fantasy points. Tonight, as the Bucks face the Bulls, I think they’ll use Henson more since they’ll need his rim-protecting presence against Pau Gasol and the rest of the Bulls’ bigs.

Trey Lyles-Utah Jazz (4,000): Lyles was a sleeper that came through for me on Friday with 18 points and five rebounds powering him to 28.5 fantasy points in his spot start against the T-Wolves.  He and the Jazz are in a great matchup for him against the Suns tonight, and he’ll be a good play if he gets another start in place of Derrick Favors (questionable). Lyles has shown lots of potential in his rookie year, and is a good play tonight if the minutes are available. No Favors-∗ With Favors-
