Scottie Pippen is not impressed with the Golden State Warriors

In the least shocking comment of the day, former Chicago Bulls forward and Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen is not conceding anything to the current form of the Golden State Warriors.

In a recent interview, Pippen was asked a series of questions that included whether or not his 72-win Bulls team of 1995-96 would beat the Warriors of today. Pippen stated that not only would Chicago win a series against Golden State, but it would do so in four games, per USA Today.

Pippen went on to say that he would shut down Steph Curry, something that no man in the current NBA can claim. Pippen was a great defender in his day, but it is highly unlikely he would shut down the reigning MVP. Curry has perhaps the best range we have ever seen and enjoys a masterfully quick release.

Also, while the Bulls were a great team and arguably the best to ever step on a court, they would not sweep the Warriors. Chicago would probably win the series because of its length on the inside with Dennis Rodman and a stretch guy like Pippen and Ron Harper, but it would not be a cakewalk.

Of course, these debates will rage forever, because nobody can prove whether or not they are right or wrong.
