WWE Superstar Stardust used a polka dot ladder to pay tribute to his late father, Dusty Rhodes, at WWE WrestleMania 32.
WWE WrestleMania 32 got started with a bang on Sunday, as Kevin Owens defended his intercontinental championship in a ladder match. One of the competitors in the match, Stardust, decided to pay tribute to his father at WrestleMania, by wearing the famous yellow polka dots on his attire just like his dad used to.
To make his tribute even better, Stardust pulled out a polka dot ladder during the middle of the match.
Stardust’s attire was a fitting tribute to his WWE Hall of Fame dad, who captured generations of wrestling fans with his brilliant wrestling ability and charisma. However, the polka dot ladder made the whole honor even greater and it was a great moment that wrestling fans will be able to remember forever.
WrestleMania is the grandest stage of them all and it’s place where dreams come to life. On Sunday, Stardust did not win the match, but he created a memory that he will never forget just like his dad always did in the ring.
First there was the “Dusty finish” and now there is the “Dusty ladder.”
