WWE Rumors: Divas division changing at WrestleMania 32, not RAW

A major change to the WWE Divas division could be coming at WrestleMania 32 as opposed to on RAW

One of the biggest rumors that has surfaced leading up to WWE WrestleMania 32 has been that there are major changes coming to the Divas division. Specifically, the word has been that WWE is planning to get rid of the Divas Championship (and the horrid Butterfly Belt) and bring back the Women’s Championship given the focus that is now being put on women’s wrestling in the company.

The initial reports regarding this change to the Divas division hinted that this quick transition would take place on Monday Night RAW the night after WrestleMania 32. However, it appears that those planes have changed and, however they choose to do it, the debut of the new belt and the rebranding of the Divas is going to take place at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, TX.

Reportedly this change in timing is being made because the winner of the Divas triple threat at WrestleMania 32 is set to appear on the “Today” show on Monday morning. So it stands to reason that WWE would be best served to showcase their rebranding of the Divas on a national stage in front of the “Today” show audience.

At WrestleMania 32, it’ll be the current champion in Charlotte defending her title against Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch. All three women are suited to help lead this rebrand of the Divas division and WWE will be better for it. So be on the lookout for this sure-to-be-incredible moment.
