Highlights and results from Roman Reigns vs Triple H for the WWE title at WrestleMania 32
The bad blood and the feud between Triple H and Roman Reigns began long before WWE WrestleMania 32 and has been broiling for many months now. However, it would all come to a head on Sunday night in Dallas, TX on the biggest stage of all at WrestleMania 32 with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship hanging in the balance.
After some intense stare downs, Triple H wasted no time showing his dominance as the champ as he threw Roman to the outside:

That barely stunned the challenger, though, and he got back into the ring and again stared down the champ. However, his stares inflicted zero damage and the champ regained the upper hand with a bit more authority this time. He drilled him with several clubbing blows to the back of the head, but Roman got his feet under him when he was sent off the ropes, rebounding to hit a flying clothesline.
Now with the advantage and Hunter down, Roman went to the outside and hit his Drive-By Dropkick. Though it looked like the challenger might be coming into his own, he got a bit too cocky:

His arrogance allowed Triple H to get back into the match, hitting several Atomic Drops and getting the advantage back. The champ then held onto it, even as Reigns tried to fight back, The Game had the answer, hitting a huge Spinebuster:

The Cerebral Assassin then took the fight to the outside and over to the announce table where he smashed Roman’s head into it and then sent him flying over it. When it looked like Roman might again be getting his wits about him, Hunter pulled out a beautiful running neckbreaker:

Back in the ring, Triple H got Reigns hung up on the ropes and hit a big flying knee. After a moment and keeping Roman down, the champ tried for the same spot, but the challenger was ready with an uppercut:

That moment gave Roman Reigns a bit of a window and he tried to capitalize, hitting a big Samoan Drop for a two-count. Roman then got loaded up for a Superman Punch, but Triple H fled to the outside. The challenger followed, though, and came off the steps for a big flying clothesline:

Triple H thought he bought himself some time after again throwing Reigns over the announce table, but Roman bounced back up and hit a huge Spear through the barricade that left both men reeling:

The challenger hurt his arm on the Spear, though, and once back in the ring, Reigns was favoring it heavily. So when he went for a Superman Punch with the opposite arm, Hunter caught him and put him in a Fujiwara Armbar submission that left Roman in a bad way:
After being locked in for a while, though, Roman Reigns somehow found a way to power out, lift the champ up, and hit a sit-out Powerbomb:

That was only good for a two-count, though, and Triple H was able to get the Fujiwara Armbar locked in yet again—but Reigns again powered out with a sit-out Powerbomb.
With both men hurting, Triple H tried to muster the strength for a Pedigree, but Roman found the strength of his own to dump Trips over the top rope. Roman then looked for the dive to the outside, but Hunter caught him with a big forearm. But Reigns was ready when Triple H got into the ring, hitting him with a Spear:

However, Stephanie on the outside pulled the ref away to save the match and she then got in the ring to yell at the ref. Roman then looked for another Spear on Triple H, but the champ moved and Stephanie actually took the Spear:

Triple H then hit the Pedigree in the confusion, but Roman kicked out at two. Both men got to their feet, but Reigns got the upper hand with a Superman Punch. When he looked for another Spear, though, Triple H caught him with a running knee—but even that was only good for a two-count:

Steph rolled out of the ring and brought the sledgehammer into the fold, but it was to no avail. Roman hit two Superman punches and, though Trips swung with the weapon, he ate a Spear instead:

That was finally good enough for three and Roman Reigns won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
