Reigning NL MVP Bryce Harper crushed a home run in his first at-bat of the season.
The 2016 MLB season is already underway and Washington Nationals slugger Bryce Harper is already picking up where he left off.
During his first at-bat in the first inning against the Atlanta Braves, Harper launched a deep home run into right field much to the amazement of everyone watching his power.
Launch might actually be an understatement for this home run.
It was just a perfect swing on the ball by Harper and it goes to show what he can do when he gets his arms fully extended and his hips placed properly on the ball. Last year, the Nationals were expected to make a World Series run but internal issues caused the team to make the playoffs.
With the team hoping they’ve got everything in order now, they are hoping this is the season they win it all. With Harper’s first-inning home run, they have to like the start they are off to.
As for the Braves, well they are going through a full rebuild for a reason and are looking toward the future.
