Stephen Curry spoke about the possibility of reaching 400 made three-point field goals this season.
The Golden State Warriors currently have the insane record of 69-8 with five games to go in the regular season.
A great part of this historic success can be attributed to the play of Stephen Curry. While the team as a whole is looking to break the mark held by the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls, who went 72-10, Curry is chasing a milestone of his own.
Curry set an NBA record for made three-point field goals in a season last year with 286, an impressive mark in itself. He destroyed that record this season and sits at 378 with five games to go.
He recently spoke with reporters and had an interesting comment about reaching 400.
Curry’s version of “chucking” is much different from the average player’s version, as he can seemingly make a shot from anywhere on the floor at any time.
With five games remaining and only 22 makes away, it seems like Curry will easily reach the 400 mark. The only thing stopping him would be sitting out for rest, but it seems like this team has decided to go after the 72-10 record.
If Curry achieves his milestone and the team reaches its own, the Warriors are the clear favorites heading into the playoffs.
