With the second of the three fifth round draft selections the Browns have, the team needs to take Darion Griswold. The Arkansas State tight end is a potential star. He was under used in college. Griswold was low on opportunities but filled with potential.

Griswold has a big, bulky body that does not restrict his straight-line speed. He uses his excellent lower body conditioning to quickly accelerate and cut in the open field. While the Browns do have Gary Barnidge at the tight end position, drafting Griswold would allow the Browns to start rebuilding the team’s talent cupboard which is seriously empty.

If the Browns were to draft Griswold, they would be taking a player that hasn’t accomplished a great deal in the college ranks. Normally, if a player does not have decent production, then take is a big red flag to teams. However, in the case of Griswold, the Browns will have to accept his lack of starting experience and production if they want to get a player with as much potential as he does.
