This has been a lost season for the Brooklyn Nets, but they’ve decided to give some of their younger guys a shot at minutes down the stretch. They’ve shut down both Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young, and are instead seeing what guys like Thomas Robinson, Willie Reed and Chris McCullough can give them.

Robinson, a former Kings lottery pick, has been impressive in extended minutes. He’s racked up four consecutive double-doubles coming into tonight’s game against the Wizards. Though he’s not as dynamic a player as many thought he’d be coming out of college, there is a place for guys in the league willing to play hard and rebound like maniacs. Thomas certainly fits the ball.

T-Rob scored has scored a career-high 21 points thus far tonight against Washington, with two of them coming on this glorious, one-handed throwdown off a miss (via @BrooklynNets):

Gotta go up stronger than that, Marcin Gortat.
