ESPN’s Bomani Jones created a stir with his ‘Caucasians’ shirt he wore while appearing on the network to mock the Cleveland Indians logo.

ESPN personality Bomani Jones has never been afraid to speak his mind and that’s why he’s as successful as he is. He’s been outspoken on his television show Highly Questionable, appearances on Around the Horn, his radio show The Right Time and in his columns.

He’s great at creating a reaction to his thoughts which is the job of every great columnist and he certainly caused a reaction after co-hosting the Mike and Mike radio show on Thursday morning, but not with his words, but his choice of attire.

Jones sported a ‘Caucasian’ t-shirt mocking the Chief Wahoo logo used by the Cleveland Indians. Jones has been outspoken about the MLB teams use of the logo and this was a way to bring more attention to his cause with the huge audience of the Mike and Mike radio show that is simulcast on ESPN2.

You can see an image of the shirt in the picture below and if you’re like the host of people tweeting about the shirt online and wondering how you can get your hands on one, you can buy it here from Shelf Life Clothing who makes the shirt.

As you can imagine with a shirt like this there were some negative responses to wardrobe choice with people wanting to make a big deal out of this and come down hard on Jones.

But Jones wasn’t about to have any of that and responded to one such comment on twitter with a “drop the mic” reply.

According to TMZ, ESPN “freaked out” at the sight of the shirt and asked him to cover up the shirt. He later partially zipped up his hoodie to hide part of the image.

What do you think of the ‘Caucasians’ shirt? Are you on the side that doesn’t think there is anything wrong with it and you applaud Jones for wearing it on TV and want to get a shirt for

Are you on the side that doesn’t think there is anything wrong with it and you applaud Jones for wearing it on TV and want to get a shirt for yourself or are you in the camp that thinks this is racially insensitive?
