Bryce Harper launches home run into second deck (Video)
Bryce Harper sent a home run into orbit for his 99th career home run.
Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper is the reigning NL Most Valuable Player. He’s on a mission to win the NL MVP again while trying to make baseball fun again. Harper is one step closer to accomplishing both of those things thanks to a home run Harper launched into orbit and into the second upper deck at Nationals Park.
"For Bryce Harper’s 99th career home run, he sends it to the MOON.https://t.co/8NWW1R2FdA— 120 Sports (@120Sports) April 8, 2016"
That is Harper’s second home run of the season in the first three games of the campaign. He’s on pace to hit over 100 home runs this season. While it’s still early, Harper has proven that baseball fans might not have seen the best out of him yet. That’s something that every baseball team should be gravely concerned about because Harper’s coming off one of the best seasons that a hitter has ever had.
Harper won the NL MVP last season after hitting 42 home runs with 99 RBI and a .330 batting average. He also had a .460 on base percentage and an outrageous .649 slugging percentage for a 1.109 OPS. Harper is making baseball fun again for everyone except those unfortunate enough to face him.
