Defunct NFL teams get uniform makeovers

A graphic designer decided to redesigned defunct NFL teams’ uniforms and helmets, the results are wicked awesome.

A Imgur user by the name of DarthBrooksIMGUR has designed some amazing uniforms for old, defunct NFL teams. Some of the teams that received the uniform updates are teams that did not even have a logo in the first place.

Additionally, all the uniforms are of high quality and show a great deal of attention to where the teams came from. One team that received an update was the Brooklyn Dodgers. The Dodgers in particular have two different art options, and both look amazing.

Another team that has an amazing redesigned jersey is the Canton Bulldogs. In the mock-up, the uniform has a gold and maroon color scheme that simply looks classy. It is truly sad that the city that houses the NFL Hall of Fame missed out on having these Canton Bulldogs playing for them.

The last uniform redesign that impressed me are the Frankford Yellow Jackets. The uniform scheme is similar to the latest Jacksonville Jaguars look, mixed with the helmet design of the Bengals.

If the NFL decides not to make these uniforms actual NFL teams’ alternate uniforms, then maybe in the next Madden game players can try to model some of these uniform redesigns.

The graphic designer also made a few different helmets. While all of the helmets he designed looked awesome, the best helmet he made was for the Canton Bulldogs. The helmet’s contrast of maroon and white gives off a tough, old school look.

Hopefully this graphic designer continues his work. I’d love to see him try and tackle old NBA teams like the Seattle Supersonics.
