A look at 10 things you need to know before The Masters 2016

It’s now officially one of the biggest and most exciting weekends of the year in the world of golf as The Masters is set to get underway at Augusta National Golf Club. The Masters 2016, just like the tournament is every year for the sport, really signifies the true start of the new PGA Tour season as the first Major Championship to be played and all the pomp and circumstance associated with the weekend and the tournament as a whole.

When it comes to a tournament like The Masters, there are obviously going to be some things that stay the same. The patrons at Augusta are always famously going to be chowing down on pimento cheese sandwiches. There aren’t going to be any cell phones allowed on the course per the rules of the club. And, of course, the winner is always going to be ceremoniously presented the Green Jackets.

However, for as much that stays the same with The Masters, there are always moving parts every year when it comes to Augusta. Just like any other sport, the pieces are always fluid around several things that remain solid, secure and the same. The same can be said.

With that in mind, there are always things that you need to know to keep up when it comes to the latest playing of The Masters. These are the 10 things fans need to know for the 2016 Masters.
