Boston Red Sox outfielder Brock Holt hit a key grand slam against the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday night.

It might only be April, but every division game in baseball matters when it comes down to winning the division every year. On Friday night, the Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays engaged in a lively battle that saw both teams delivering giant punches at the other.

With the Blue Jays holding a one-run lead, Josh Donaldson would extend the advantage, when he hit a massive grand slam to increase their lead. Just when it looked like the Blue Jays would run away with the game after Donaldson’s big shot out to left field, the Red Sox got right back in it, when outfielder Brock Holt just managed to get a shot over the right field wall for a grand slam of his own.

It’s not often that teams trade grand slams, but it’s nothing short of exciting when it does happen. This game might be played in April, but the atmosphere in Toronto is that of a game being played in October.

That’s what it takes to go all in and win a division at the end of the year.
