Cleveland Browns: 5 best NFL Draft picks of all-time

The Cleveland Browns’ draft day struggles are well documented. However, the team has hit on a few players, including these five who are the best in franchise history.

Drafting players in the NFL isn’t easy. If it was, then the Browns would be a dynasty. In the past decade, the Browns have had four seasons where the team had two first round draft picks. Additionally, over that same time period, the Browns had a total of 13 first round draft picks.

In other words, the Browns have had a crazy amount of draft capital. Yet, the team has only had one season with a winning record.

However, the Browns are not at total fault. The NFL draft is a gamble. Teams can do all the scouting, interviews, and investigations they want to, they will never be able to know without a doubt how a player will translate to the NFL game.

While the Browns have struggled to draft players this decade, the team still has drafted some very good players. Before the previous version of the Browns relocated and became the Baltimore Ravens, the team experienced a good deal of success.
