NFL Injuries: Which NFL stars deserve career re-do?
NFL injuries have rocked the league for years so which stars deserve a career re-do?
The NFL can be a cruel sport. Besides hundreds of players trying to make it big out of college every spring in the draft, fall ball starts and a majority of them are cut from their respective teams. NFL injuries are another part of the game that can be unforgiving.
If you’re a fan of the game, chances are you’ve seen your favorite player, or one of them, go down with a serious injury at some point or another. When these guys play all out, all the time, there are going to be consequences.
Two injuries have been extremely common over the past few years and the trend is scarily headed in the wrong direction: concussions and torn ACLs.
First off, concussions are getting more exposure and the research on the head injury is growing and developing. We now know more about concussions than ever before and it’s forcing some players to end their careers early because of the dangerous side effects that could take place later in life.
As for ACL injuries, more than a dozen players were out for the majority of the season in 2015 thanks to the tearing of this knee ligament. It’s a growing trend and it might have something to do with these guys stressing their legs out too much by overworking their bodies.
Each season, players suffer devastating injuries and some guys have worse luck and experience multiple long-term injuries over their careers.
We are going to take a look at which 15 NFL players, current and/or relatively recent, who deserve a career re-do because of their bad luck with injuries. Let us know if we missed anyone in the comment section below.
