Boston Celtics vs Atlanta Hawks
Both of these teams have locked up a playoff berth, so what’s the draw, you ask? Well, the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs is on the line. Heading into Friday night, the Celtics were just a half game back with four games remaining and beating the Milwaukee Bucks would put them into a tie for third.

Isaiah Thomas was a tremendous addition in the middle of last season, really proving to be one of the league’s most underrated point guards. The pint-sized point is averaging a team-high 22.4 points and 6.3 assists per game. This team is scary young with future stars such as Avery Bradley, Jae Crowder, Jared Sullinger, Kelly Olynyk and Marcus Smart waiting in the wings.
Just one season after earning the No. 1 seed in the NBA playoffs, Mike Budenholzer and the Hawks took a minor step back and need to win out just to get 50 wins — they finished with 60 last year. Atlanta has won 14-of-18 games and is looking to earn that No. 3 spot and won’t be an easy out this postseason with how well it’s been playing.
Paul Millsap has been gradually improving throughout his career and the 31-year-old seems to be the top player for the Hawks nowadays. He’s averaging a team-high 17.1 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per contest. Don’t sleep on Al Horford, either. The veteran big man is putting up 15.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
