Duck Commander 500 2016: Starting grid, lineup

Here is the complete starting grid and lineup for the 2016 Duck Commander 500 on Saturday night.

For the very first time this season, NASCAR will be racing under the lights instead of the sun. On Saturday night, NASCAR heads to Texas Motor Speedway for the 2016 Duck Commander 500. On Friday, NASCAR held qualifying for the Sprint Cup Series race and it was Carl Edwards who took command of the second and third rounds.

Edwards has yet to win on the season, but Texas is a track that he has success at and he looks primed to punch his ticket to the Chase on Saturday night. It won’t be easy for Edwards on Saturday night though. He faces some stiff competition, including from Kyle Busch, who won the Xfinity Series race on Friday night.

Busch will be starting the race 15th, but with the way he has been running lately, he will quickly work his way to the front to battle with the likes of Edwards and Joey Logano. Chase Elliott will also be in fourth to start on Saturday night, after an impressive qualifying performance.

With another big night of racing set to get underway and a potential spot in the Chase up for grabs, here’s the complete starting grid and lineup for the Duck Commander 500.
