NBA Tank Rankings: Sixers avoid historical futility

We’re almost to the end, and the teams included in this space are thankful for that.
During each week of the 2015-2016 season, we have touched on the bottom of the NBA, ranking the five worst teams in the league at that moment. The final week of the campaign is no different, and even as nearly everyone has moved on to playoff talk, we aren’t ready to quit these squads.
Ping-pong balls matter in this league, and with that as the backdrop, here is our final look at the worst of the worst.
211. <p>Wait, aren’t the Grizzlies going to make the playoffs?</p> <p>Yes, yes they are.</p> <p>That doesn’t mean that Memphis is playing well, though, as this team has been walking wounded for some time and the results bear that out. The Grizzlies have posted a 3-10 record in their last 13 games, and during that time, they are the second-worst team in the NBA in terms of net rating (-10.5 points per 100).</p> <p>Dave Joerger has actually done a tremendous job in keeping things afloat despite the insane injury issues here, but if we are talking simply about which teams are playing the worst basketball as the season closes, the Grizzlies qualify.</p>.
