Los Angeles dropped all four of its games to clinch the worst record in the Western Conference, and not even the Kobe Bryant farewell tour can salvage that.</p> <p>The Lakers are the worst defensive team in the league (109.3 points allowed per 100 possessions) and we have to watch Byron Scott coach again after this season, things have gone terribly wrong. The Sixers were in serious danger of tying their own NBA record for futility, but Brett Brown managed to guide his team through that peril and everything is alright.</p> <p>Oh, I guess I should mention that the Sixers are (still) brutal and that their general manager (Sam Hinkie) released an epic resignation letter this week. Eh, let’s keep things “positive” for the no-doubt occupant of the top spot.</p>. (10-69)
