Denver Broncos MVP Von Miller says he’d have already signed Johnny Manziel if he had a say in the matter.

The Denver Broncos are on the hunt for a quarterback, and one of the answers might end up being embattled ex-Browns starter Johnny Manziel. Of course, while there are connections to be made between Manziel and the Broncos, there hasn’t yet been enough definitive evidence to suggestseriouds interest.

But if you ask Super Bowl MVP Von Miller what he thinks, then Manziel being on the team wouldn’t even require the second, third and fourth thought that is has prompted.

Michael David Smith of ProFootballTalk.com passed along a quote from Miller stating that if he had a say in the matter, Manziel would already be on the Broncos roster.

"“If I had to make my decision on it, he would already be with the Broncos. But we’ve got guys in the front office that make those decisions, and they’ve put us in the championship with those decisions.”"

Miller is in a position to say these things and have some weight behind them as he’s the Super Bowl MVP and the best player on the roster right now. He’s also an ex-teammate of Manziel, which is both a blessing and a curse in taking his word seriously.

While Miller might know Manziel’s antics better than most after having seen them firsthand in college, he might be too biased as well.
