Golden State Warriors vs. Memphis Grizzlies
Only three wins stand between the Golden State Warriors and the record for the most regular season wins in the history of the NBA. The next step in reaching that goal will be going on the road to FedExForum on Saturday evening and taking down an ailing and floundering Memphis Grizzlies team.
The weight of the history that the Warriors are currently chasing looked like it might be getting to them, but Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green responded in a major way as they toppled the San Antonio Spurs and convincing fashion earlier this week. They’ll need to carry that same type of commitment and intensity to Memphis on Saturday night. As for the Grizzlies, they are absolutely wrecked by injuries right now with Marc Gasol and Mike Conley out, but Tony Allen and Zach Randolph have been leading the way and they’ll need to do just that to just have a chance at taking down the Warriors no matter where the game is played.
