Kenny Omega throws shade at WWE at NJPW Invasion Attack (Video)

NJPW star Kenny Omega wasted no time in burying WWE for their lackluster WrestleMania 32

Kenny Omega has never been one to hide from WWE, despite the fact that he works for New Japan Pro Wrestling. He and The Young Bucks as members of Bullet Club and ELITE have most recently been in a verbal feud with WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day as they want to have a match with them. At the NJPW Invasion Attack 2016 pay-per-view on Sunday, though, Omega may have started a feud with all of WWE.

ELITE were defending their NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag titles at Invasion Attack and Kenny Omega came out with the Bucks. As Omega walked up to the ring, though, he demanded the camera get up close on him. At that point, “The Cleaner” then threw tons of shade at WWE as he said that fans wasted money on a show last week (WrestleMania 32) and that he was about to show everyone how it’s done.

Because Kenny Omega is incredible, he took it one step further, though, and said that he wasn’t just showing the fans what they’re missing, but the wrestlers as well:

Yes, Omega doesn’t specifically name WWE, but anyone with half a brain and any kind of knowledge about recent wrestling events knows what he’s talking about and it’s pure brilliance that he’s doing so. There are quite many jaded WWE fans after a disappointing WrestleMania 32, so to call them out on a competitive product is perfect.

With Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks continuing to get involved with WWE in one capacity or another, you have to wonder if they’ll ever break down any walls and get NJPW and WWE to work together. Sadly though, the safe bet would be no. So we’ll settle for more stuff like this from the ELITE.
