Here’s a look at who the New England Patriots should take with their picks in the 2016 NFL Draft.

For much of the last two decades, the New England Patriots haven’t known what it was like to have a high pick in the NFL Draft. Since taking Terry Glenn with the seventh pick in the 1996 Draft, New England has been in the top ten of picks just twice, taking Richard Seymour with the sixth pick in 2001 and Jarrod Mayo with the tenth pick in 2008 (one they got in a trade).

Head coach Bill Belichick has built the Patriots empire on lower round picks and players taken that have a chip on their shoulder trying to prove something to those teams that didn’t think twice about selecting them. Something must be working, with four Super Bowl titles (and two other appearances) over the last 15 seasons.

Entering the 2016 season, questions have arisen about the future of the Patriots after their AFC Championship game lost last season to the Denver Broncos. There are some in the football world who are leaning toward the team needing a total makeover to get back to the big game.

If that is to take place, it won’t start with a first round pick since the team was stripped of theirs thanks to Deflate-Gate. With that, here’s a look at the picks the New England Patriots should make in the 2016 NFL Draft.
