Smylie Kaufman is ready for the biggest day of his life on Sunday, but he’s also sending some love Leonard Fournette’s way
As we head into the final round of the Masters on Sunday, there are once again a lot of stories to keep an eye on, as there generally are. One of those stories is 24-year-old Smylie Kaufman, who is looking to make quite the rookie impact on the biggest golf tournament in the world as he starts the day at -2 and one shot behind Jordan Spieth.
However, no matter how much pressure he’s under in this tournament, he can’t forget his college roots nor the most famous athlete currently playing at that institution right now.
Kaufman played his golf in college for the LSU Tigers, and as he makes his way thorough the Masters tournament this weekend, apparently he has a message for the Heisman voters.

Yeah, to say that he’s a Leonard Fournette fan might be an understatement. At the moment, Fournette is the savior of LSU football and the one that give the program hope.
However, while Fournette might capture that Heisman that has eluded him this season, Kaufman is the pride of LSU this weekend.
