With the NBA season quickly winding down, there are still playoff positions up for grabs and a tight race for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.  Teams 7-9 are all in action tonight as part of a full nine-game schedule in the NBA. To give yourself another reason to watch tonight’s games get your DFS fantasy basketball team in the action with the help of my DraftKings daily picks found on the following slides.

More from DraftKings

At this point int he season many teams are battling injury, resting players, or trying to get a read on young players with potential which can lead to some interesting rotations.  Make sure to stay tuned throughout the night on Twitter in case I have to switch something up due to someone resting or getting an opportunity that we can’t foresee at this point.

The action starts tonight at 7:00 PM ET.  At that time, two games tip off as the Cavs host the Hawks in a possible playoff series preview while the Magic host the Bucks in a matchup of two teams outside of the playoffs. At 7:30, the Celtics host the Hornets in an important game for both teams’ playoff seeding while in Brooklyn the Nets welcome in the Wizards.  At 8:00, the recently-eliminated Bulls take on the Pelicans, still-clinging-to-hope Rockets visit the Timberwolves, and the Thunder host Kobe and the Lakers.  At 9:00, the Jazz and Mavs meet in another important game out West since the Mavericks currently sit #7 one game ahead of Utah who is currently #8 but just one game ahead of Houston who is currently sitting  in the dreaded #9 spot just outside of the playoffs. The final game of the night gets going at 10:00 PM ET when the Kings go on the road to take on the Suns in Phoenix in a matchup where there are some nice fantasy values to target even though both teams are long eliminated from playoff contention.

There are a lot of different options to consider as you put together your lineup tonight, so check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides where you can find who I like in tonight’s matchups. My goal is to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team tonight. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, you’ll find two slides per position in this post–one with high-salary options and one with high-value options. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of 2016, I  started to rank my picks using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.
