The 2016 NFL Draft is less than three weeks away and ābig boardsā are being finalized all over the football world. Last week, we took a deep dive into the thoughts of ESPNās Mel Kiper Jr., applying his current big board to a full-blown first round mock draft. In todayās edition, we will do the same thing withĀ another prominent member of NFL Draft punditry.
Matt Miller of Bleacher ReportĀ has emerged as one of the leading internet voices when it comes to evaluating the NFL, and no one canĀ question his work ethic or attention to detail whenĀ breaking down film. He is perhaps best known for his work onĀ āNFL 1000ā ā where he ranks the top players at each and every position (even punters) ā but his draft work is excellentĀ as well, even if some disagree with his occasional āout of the boxā thinking.
As with the mock centered on Kiperās rankings, we will take a few liberties with Millerās rankings when it comes to team needs ā that is simply the nature of the beast when it comes to projecting the NFL draft. However, there is aĀ very interesting differenceĀ between the two experts at the top of the draft, and that will set the tone for the remainingĀ picks as we attempt to look at this draft class fromĀ Millerās perspective.
Now, letās get to the actual picks. As they have been since the close of the 2015 NFL season,Ā the Titans are on the clock.
