13.
For the second straight pick, we aren’t following Miller’s big board, but it would be very, very difficult for the Chargers to pass on Laremy Tunsil if he is available.

While the former Ole Miss left tackle is not the best overall player remaining in Miller’s mind, he is the second best, and Tunsil is the consensus top player in this class. The Chargers have a serious need when it comes to their pass rush — which puts players like Joey Bosa and DeForest Buckner firmly in play here — but San Diego’s offensive tackle situation is muddy at best, and Tunsil is about as safe as it gets in the top three.

Furthermore, Philip Rivers is not going to become more mobile as he ages (spoiler alert) and the Chargers have had a very tough time keeping him upright in recent years. Tunsil profiles as a starting left tackle from the first moment he steps on to an NFL football field, and would solve one of San Diego’s biggest problems.

It will be interesting to see how the Chargers approach this pick, but if Tunsil is available, it shouldn’t be a tough choice.
. OT. Ole Miss. Laremy Tunsil. 3. player
