4. Injuries

Another area that the Warriors had a luck with last year was in the injury department. The team never had to deal with major injury issues and that helped them stay more fresh than the rest of the teams that were banged up that they played against in the playoffs.

This year, the Warriors have had to deal with some injuries. While nothing major, there have been lingering issues with some players on the team that are expected to play key roles for them. Andre Iguodala is coming off of a sprained ankle, Andrew Bogut has lingering issues and the starters have all dealt with minor things one way or another.

The playoffs are where the real grind begins and the team isn’t going to get much time off unless they can get through their series rather quickly. They will probably do that in the first round, but after that they’re going to have quite the challenge trying to finish off the Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs or Los Angeles Clippers off in five games or less.

If anything is still lingering with the players in injuries, it’s only going to flare up even more now. The team has to end these series quickly.
