Mike Trout, Angels play Warriors in PIG (Video)

Mike Trout and the Los Angeles Angels decided to drop by Golden State Warriors practice for a little game of PIG.

There’s nothing quite like seeing star players from different sports take each other on in their respective sports. On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Angels got to check out the buzz that is the Golden State Warriors and watch the Warriors practice a day before they try to make NBA history and win their 73rd game of the season.

While getting to watch the best team in the NBA practice was cool enough as is, the Angels decided to get in on the action and there were a couple of games of horse that went on during practice.

Angels superstar outfielder Mike Trout decided to take on Draymond Green in a game of PIG, which as everyone knows, is the game where you try to defeat your opponent with crazy trick shots.

In a rather shocking result, Trout would defeat Green in a result that almost no one expected.

After Green lost to Trout on his own floor, Stephen Curry decided to step up and pick up his teammate by taking on the Angels’ right-handed reliever Joe Smith. A reliever going up against the NBA MVP and league’s best shooter in a game of PIG seems almost unfair.

So naturally, Smith ended up winning and no one was sure what had just happened.

The Warriors went down in a clean sweep in their own game to a couple of baseball players. Perhaps Curry and Green should challenge them to a home run derby, because none of this makes a lick of sense.

In the end, the Angels presented Curry with a jersey and they posed for a photo opportunity.

The Warriors will now go for win No. 73 against the Grizzlies on Wednesday night, but if they shoot like they did against a baseball team, then history might be on hold.
