Welcome to the BAE Index

Nik Stauskas posterized Bismack Biyombo. Seriously!

Lots of people may have forgotten about former lottery pick Nik Stauskas now that he’s wallowing in Philadelphia, but Bismack Biyombo will remember him forever. The Raptors’ shot-blocking big man’s eyes must’ve lit up when he saw Stauskas driving hard to the bucket Tuesday night, and came over for what looked like a surefire swat. Clearly, Biz underestimated the explosiveness of ol’ Sauce Castillo, and paid the price (via Max Rappaport):

But that’s not all! Biyombo neglected to box Stauskas out on this play, and the former Wolverine rose high for the two-handed throwdown (via @DefPenSports):

Dion Waiters got Tim Duncan on a chasedown

Speaking of guys not known for doing certain things, here we have a quality defensive play from Dion Waiters, of all people. Watch as he comes out of nowhere to deny this left-handed floater attempt from Tim Duncan (via WhipClip):

First we had Stauskas giving Biyombo the business twice, and now Waiters is taking out some anger on poor Tim Duncan. Dion drives hard to the rim here and finishes with the nice flush right over the top of Old Man Riverwalk (via @DefPenSports):

Norman Powell is windmilling

Rookie Norm Powell found himself all alone on the break Tuesday night, which is a situation quite familiar to teams playing against the 76ers. Powell made the most of his opportunity, flushing this powerful windmill to put the exclamation point on Toronto’s blowout victory (via @DefPenSports):
