Watch the 2016 NFL schedule release special online.
The 2016 NFL schedule is set to be released on Thursday night. After announcing that the schedule was completed on Wednesday, the league decided not to hold off on revealing it and instead elected to release the schedules the following night.
This was probably in part to prevent leaks from coming in.

The schedules will be released during a special that will be broadcast on the NFL Network. The broadcast is set to begin at 8 p.m. ET time and can be live streamed on the NFL Network’s website for free as well, as long as you log in with your television provider’s account information to authenticate access to the channel.
While the dates of the games are unknown, we know all the opponents for each team already and some games in particular.
- Jacksonville Jaguars-Indianapolis Colts on October 2nd (London)
- Los Angeles Rams-New York Giants on October 23rd (London)
- Cincinnati Bengals-Washington Redskins on October 30th (London)
- Oakland Raiders-Houston Texans on Monday, November 21st (Mexico City)
