2016 NFL schedule released for all 32 teams

Here’s a complete look at the NFL schedule for the 2016 season, which was released Thursday.

For fans of the NFL and the 32 teams that play in the league, Thursday was the day when everyone find out which teams would be playing where on the 17 weeks that make up the 2016 regular season. After completing the schedule on Wednesday, the league announced it would be releasing the dates earlier than the expected time during the week of April 18th.

The 256 game schedule features four games that were already scheduled and known. Three times this upcoming season, the league will be returning to London for their international series games (Jacksonville Jaguars-Indianapolis Colts on October 2nd, Los Angeles Rams-New York Giants on October 23rd and Cincinnati Bengals-Washington Redskins on October 30th).

Another game will be played outside the United States on Monday, November 21st when the Oakland Raiders take on the Houston Texans in Mexico City, Mexico.

The season will kick off on September 8th when the Denver Broncos host the (team name) as they begin defense of their Super Bowl title from last season. That game will be televised nationally by NBC.

The Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers tied for having the toughest schedule in the league this season, while the Green Bay Packers have the easiest schedule based on the 2015 records of their opponents this season.

The winners of the AFC and NFC will meet in Super Bowl LI, being held this year at Houston’s NRG Stadium on February 5th and nationally televised on FOX.
