Kobe Bryant gives an epic post-game speech in career finale

Kobe Bryant gave an epic post game speech after dropping 60 points in his career finale.

Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant played his final game on Wednesday night in the season finale for a team not bound for the playoffs. He put on a vintage Kobe Bryant performance, scoring 60 points against the Utah Jazz.

After the game, which occurred on the dubbed Mamba Day, Bryant stood center court to give a speech to address all the fans in attendance who likely spent an absurd amount of money for tickets to witness the moment.

Bryant talked about his career, beginning as a diehard Lakers fan as a kid to being brought into his favorite organization as a rookie. He also thanked his family and his wife for being understanding throughout his career and of the time he dedicated to his career.

He also dropped a hilarious line about his 60 point game, saying for years people have been calling for him to pass more, and in his final game everyone wanted to see him shoot and not pass.

He isn’t wrong, and it did create a memorable moment.

There was also a lot of adulation for the fans, and Bryant said he was most proud of the down years than the championship years because those teams didn’t run.

And to close it all out, Kobe had an epic mic drop after declaring “Mamba out.”
