Stephon Marbury will not be forgotten as we say goodbye to legends

Stephon Marbury is a legend and will not be forgotten.

As Kobe Bryant’s last NBA game concluded last night, we all thought it was the end of an era. The 1996 draft class is heralded as one of best of all-time. It included Kobe, Ray Allen, Steve Nash, Jermaine O’Neal and a flurry of other stars and competent role-players. And with Kobe’s retirement, every player drafted in ’96 had ended their NBA careers.

Stephon Marbury would like us to think otherwise.

While he’s not in the NBA per say, he is still playing professional basketball in China and doing so quite successfully. Starbury led his Beijing Ducks to the 2015 Chinese Basketball Association title, getting buckets as only he can.

Steph Marbury will never, ever change.
