The Super Bowl champions sent a special present to one of their most famous fans.

The Denver Broncos gave their fans plenty to be thankful for in February with one of the most dominating defensive performances in Super Bowl history. As it turns out, the team is still in the giving mood.

Denver wished Indiana Pacers forward Paul George, a fan of the team from childhood, good luck in the NBA playoffs on Friday. They sent that wish in the form of a John Elway-signed football.

Of course, it took George all of eight minutes to respond on Twitter, and the Broncos promptly responded back, complete with an Elway GIF.

George is a California native, but grew up rooting for the Broncos because his father played against Elway in high school. The Broncos’ official website connected with George for a Q&A when the team came to Indianapolis for the NFL’s annual scouting combine. Unsurprisingly, he listed the Super Bowl 50 win as his favorite moment from the season.

George, a three-time All-Star, is in the midst of career season. He averaged a career-high 23.1 points and played in 81 of Indiana’s 82 games in the regular season. This is all less than two years since he suffered a gruesome compound leg fracture that cost him virtually all of the 2014-15 season.

George and the No. 7-seeded Pacers face the No. 2-seeded Toronto Raptors in the first round of the playoffs. Game 1 is slated for a 12:30 p.m. tip on Saturday.
