As the NBA regular season starts to roll to its end, the majority of teams are already planning fishing trips after not making the NBA Playoffs. While serious seasonĀ eulogiesĀ are going on over atĀ Hardwood Paroxysm,Ā we here at The Friendly Bounce are taking a look at the important part of each teamās season as we bid them farewell, the fun stuff. So enjoy and feel free to add your entries to each category in the comments below and follow along with the entire series over the next two weeks.Ā
Look, Iām not going to pretend that any of us watched a ton of the Denver Nuggets this season. While there were bright spots for the Nuggets at different times during the season, Denver mostly was stuck the mid-lottery area in a time zone that made it hard for people to care unless their favorite team happened to be playing Denver that night. Even Denver fans didnāt seem to care as the Nuggets finished dead last in attendance this season. So yeah, sorry Nuggets fans.
Most Vinable Player:Ā
Dan Favale (@Danfavale):Ā Will Barton has a license to chuck and dunk, and I love it. He cannot be impeded when going baseline and knives through defenses from above the break with graceful explosion befitting Kevin Durant.Ā
Donnie Kolakowski (@Donniebuckets):Ā Bartonās a solid choice, but Iām going with Nikola Jokic. That guy busted out the most veteran of moves in his rookie season, and had at least one play a night that was worth a look. He may not be as heralded as some other rookies, but he was really productive and fun to watch.Ā
Ryne Prinz (@Ryneprinz):Ā Will Barton seems like a solid pick. As Dan said, his athleticism is incredibly smooth, and he seems to float in the air. Heās one of my favorite in-game dunkers in the league.Ā
Matt Cianfrone (@Matt_Cianfrone):Ā Barton is my choice as well. He combines crazy athleticism with having no fear of failure which provides some interesting shot, dunk and block attempts and some great highlights.
