Here’s where you can catch Game 2 of the Eastern Conference first round playoff series between the New York Islanders and Florida Panthers on TV.

Thursday night’s opening game between the New York Islanders and Florida Panthers featured nine goals and plenty of open-ended action. More of the same figures to be in store for Game 2 at the BB&T Center on Friday night.

The Islanders beat Florida in a 5-4 thriller to win the all-important Game 1 on the road. New York was down a goal on three separate occasions, but scored twice near the beginning of the third period before holing off the powerful Panthers offense.

Game 2 between the Islanders and Panthers will start at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on Friday night. NHL Network will have TV coverage, while the game can also be live streamed using the NHL.tv service.

If the Panthers are to even the series on Friday, they will need to slow down Islanders center John Taveras. Taveras was unstoppable on Thursday, totaling a goal and two assists while making something happen nearly every time he touched the puck.

Islanders backup goalie Thomas Greiss was fantastic filling in for the injured Jaroslav Halak, totaling 42 saves. Roberto Luongo only made 21 saves while letting five different Islanders find the back of the net.

Florida’s first line, led by 44-year-old Jaromir Jagr, was unable to get on the scoreboard on Thursday, but consistently put a lot of pressure on Greiss. Reilly Storm and Jussi Jokinen each had three points for Florida.
