Here’s where you can watch Game 2 of the Eastern Conference first round playoff series between the Detroit Red Wings and Tampa Bay Lightning on TV.

Wednesday night’s Game 1 of the Eastern Conference first round between the Detroit Red Wings and Tampa Bay Lightning was one of the most exciting contests of the NHL Playoffs so far.

Game 2 between the Red Wings and Lightning can be seen on CNBC at 7:00 p.m. Eastern on Friday and streamed live using the NBC Sports Live Extra app. CBC and Fox Sports Detroit will also have coverage of the matchup.

Tampa Bay pulled out a 3-2 win at Amalie Arena on Wednesday night behind the strength of its top line, even without leading scorer Steven Stamkos. Nikita Kucherov tallied Tampa Bay’s first two goals of the night before Alex Killorn’s game-winner early in the third period. Tyler Johnson also continued his fine playoff form with two assists.

The Red Wings got two quick goals early in the second period from Mike Green and Justin Abdelkader, but were unable to get much else offensively despite having good puck possession throughout the game. Detroit will hope for a spark from Pavel Datsyuk in his last playoff run, while rookie Dylan Larkin can be the most dangerous player on the ice at times.

After a contentious affair on Wednesday night between two teams who met in the first round a year ago, the physicality should only increase in Game 2. The Red Wings will be desperate for a win to avoid heading back to Joe Louis Arena in an 0-2 hole.
